Pitch Bible WIP

My story as of now if based off of my character Oda.

Oda is a flower who has yet to bloom. As all of the other flowers have bloomed into beautiful colors, Oda has yet to see her pedals. She is looked down upon by the other flowers and forces Oda to leave her home valley.

As Oda ventures from her home she runs into a villager, Eenok. He's astonished to see a flower walking around him but she isn't fazed. Oda is actually excited to meet a new friend.

For the moment I haven't decided how I want their friendship to 'blossom', but I do want Eenok to help Oda accept her late bloom and get her back home safely.

Oda and Eenok have formed a friendship in a short time span, but Oda is happy and enjoying her time away from the other flowers. In that moment she finally blooms into a bright red flower.

This is the flower I want Oda to bloom into.

"WISP" Storyboard Layouts - Junior Film

Presentation Board Layout

Main Character, "Vasco" is tracing his finger across the page of a book. He is looking for some sort of inspiration to write his own novel.

Vasco takes a break and places his book on the table. He walks off screen.

When Vasco is out of sight, magic begins to stir in the books on the shelf and a wisp appears. It quickly finds its way to the book Vasco had placed on the table.

But the wisp was not quick enough, Vasco enters the scene again and hurries to pick up the book. Then, a flash of light appears and the scene changes.

Vasco opens his eyes to find himself in a dark corridor.

The wisp manifests before him and urges him to follow.

Vasco races after the wisp trying desperately to keep up.

He enters another room and stops in amazement as he looks up at the wisp.

The wisp has morphed its shape into that of a large beast. It pears down at Vasco, looking into his eyes.

Vasco hesitates and reaches to touch the beast and catch it in his palms, but he realizes that the wisp will only slip through his feathery fingers. The beast is inspiring to Vasco and he promises to remember this moment.

The beast faded back into a streaming wisp and is joined by other wisps. The twist and turn and fly up into the sky fading into stars.

Vasco is deeply inspired and continues to read on the book, hoping to obtain more wisping thoughts.

Character Info - Roy Falconhurst

Roy Falconhurst – Roy is a traveler and an elementalist. He goes almost anywhere the terrain will let him. Riding alongside him is his cousin, Levi. She happens to be learning alchemy instead of the elements like her older cousin. She encompasses the ability to transmute almost anything that is tangible. Levi also conjures potions that she and Roy can trade to the passing villages. There’s always a need for medicine and special elixirs, so they don’t mind stopping to help out a village or two.

Roy is average height, age 19, and has short blue-gray hair and light blue eyes.

Roy travels the lands in only one hope, to find his best friend Scipio. His friend disappeared from his home about a few months back and Roy has been on a hunt to either find his friend or happen upon the men who took him.

Being an elementalist, Roy has learned to tame and conjure all of the main elements; fire, water, air, and earth. He could simply ride the air and race across the world looking for his desires, but every skill comes with a toll. Roy becomes exhausted after any use of his abilities. At max, he could use the elements for as long as an hour before growing tired. But Roy is realizing that as he ages, that time span becomes shorter. To save his energy, Roy and Levi have taken on a new member of the group. They’ve purchased a terrain rider. Supposedly the beast can travel through any sort of terrain. It is a beast however and Roy has his doubts. They can get around a lot easier though and that will suffice.

Eda and Burr

Concept sketches

Characters & Environments
I was tasked to create an old Turkish con-artist.
In response to this, I have designed Eda and Burr.

Eda is a seamstress who loves to sew and knit all kinds of things. She especially loves making little vests and hats for her friend Burr. Burr is a large bear that lives with Eda. He is a delight to have around the house, helping Eda with all the chores and occasionally trying on some of her new outfits.

Eda and Burr seem to be a great match, and truthfully they are much more. Whenever Eda is ready to go into town, she will take Burr by the circle fountain and have him dance for a little coin. But on days that lack shoppers or when they just get ignored, Eda will give Burr the signal to start his true job. He hides in the shadows and under booths till people walk by, then carefully snatch peoples coin purses and valuables.

Eda will wander for only a little while till she thinks they've gotten enough, or people start to become noticeable of Burr's presence. Then give him the signal to meet her back home.

You wouldn't expects such a nice lady and her cuddly bear to be so devious, but everyone needs coin to live. In their case, they're being just a big greedy. Occasionally Eda will get a treat finding buttons, that Burr accidentally snags off peoples clothing, that she can add to her collection as a seamstress.
